Farmers Attitude Towards Private Agricultural Extension Services (PAES): A Guttman Scalogram Analysis

Farmers need accurate and timely information to increase crop production productivity. However, market price fluctuations extension approach changes inspired the farmers opt for private agricultural systems. The decision adopt or reject an innovation depends on farmer's attitude toward innovation. Thus, present study was undertaken assess unidimensional nature of scale through scalogram technique (Good enough technique) administer in analyzing towards PAES. Based review literature discussion with experts, 7 favorable statements were selected To check coefficient reproducibility developed scale, it administered 15 subjects found be 0.83, indicating scale's reliability. Simultaneously, employed PAES that more than half (53.33%) had a attitude. Most suggested continuous monitoring regulation should done ensure proper functioning.
